ABOUT
Prepare for the PSA has been running since 2020. We have helped thousands of students to successfully pass the Prescribing Safety Assessment (PSA) and have won multiple awards. Most students hear about us through word of mouth which we believe reflects the high quality teaching delivered. Last year our pass rate was 98%, higher than the national average, with everyone passing their resit after a 1:1 session.

Prepare for the PSA consists of four sessions covering everything you need to pass the exam. This includes an exam breakdown, advice on how to maximise your mark, integrated finals revision, tips and tricks to navigate the BNF alongside all sections of the PSA. Many students find the calculation skills to be harder in the exam, so our unique approach breaks down these questions into ten types, then provides you with a consistent method to tackle them all. Fluids is often a confusing topic that can be variably taught, using simple tables we show you the correct approach to fluid prescribing and tackling fluid questions in the PSA, which should guarantee you full marks. Throughout the course we focus on high yield topics and have added in topics students have requested such as HRT, contraception, insulin, and diabetes in surgery and pregnancy. Prepare for the PSA mainly focusses on using the NICE BNF (not Medicines Complete) which we feel is easier to navigate and more widely used when working as doctors. A mock exam and certificate is available on completion of the course.
